Napanee Generating Station (NGS)
March 10, 2015

The Trans Canada Napanee Generating Station (NGS) is a 900 megawatt (MW) natural gas-fuelled electricity generating station. The facility will be located on the existing Ontario Power Generation (OPG) Lennox Generating Station site in the County of Lennox and Addington near the Town of Napanee. The proposed facility will provide reliable on-demand power to Ontario homes, schools, institutions and businesses and help replace the province’s coal-fired generation.

E.S. Fox Ltd secured the tender for providing the site services from the OPG site to the new NGS. Matric NAC was awarded the tender for the construction of this 900 megawatt plant.
